A much loved and followed project, Springfields, or ‘Periscope House’ as it is also affectionately known, is a truly magnificent building. Featured on Grand Designs, its progress was followed and admired by Kevin McCloud for the TV show. Its unique design, cedar clad exterior, cantilevered balconies, solar panels and a wild flower scattered roof met all 90 points demanded by the planners and achieved level six of the Code for Sustainable Homes to create a stunning eco-rural retreat.
