This grade 1 listed building dates back to the 13th century, it is set in the most beautiful and historic grounds with ruins classed as a Scheduled Ancient Monument. We worked with archaeologists to ensure drainage and foundations were completed safely. Roofing and structural work was carried out on the farmhouse and alterations needed to the coach house. High standards of current historic building conservation and natural breathing materials were used to bring both parts of this building into modern times, and working in partnerships with Kelling Designs the new decor is both luxurious and in keeping with the period of this home.

“From the start, NPB’s approach to our project was refreshingly different. There was genuine interest in the plans presented, in how they would affect the building and its historical significance. The team shared our sense of excitement and purpose; the aim of which was to bring a grade 1 listed building into the 21st century sensitively and beautifully, yet built for practicality. As the project progressed and inevitable issues arose, problem solving came to the fore and nothing was too difficult. This can-do attitude continued right into after care which has been extremely helpful. NPB’s approach is straightforward both in terms of the monthly budget but also during the build. Communication with the entire team was excellent meaning that decisions could be taken in a timely manner which saved time and money. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend NPB for your building project – however large or small”
